London, UK, March 2017: Shure will be making its debut at UC EXPO in London (ExCeL London, 17-18 May) on Stand E123 as it seeks to highlight the importance of high-quality audio in unified communications. While videoconferencing is an essential tool for many businesses today, the sound element is often overlooked, with users frequently having to strain to hear or ask for conversations to be repeated. By investing in high-quality conferencing sound equipment, businesses will be more productive, more efficient, and make a better impression during calls, as better sound quality means that conversations will be heard clearly, participants will be able to act and interact more naturally, and fatigue will be reduced.
Shure will be showing a number of products at UC Expo, including the networked Microflex® Advance™ and Microflex® Wireless AV conferencing microphones, to highlight its expertise in this field. The award-winning Microflex Advance MXA910 Ceiling and MXA310 Table Array microphones are discreet and architecturally unobtrusive but, most importantly, they deliver the most intelligible video conference sound. The Table Array features a unique toroid polar pattern that rejects unwanted noises from overhead, such as HVAC or projector fan noise, while the subtle design of the Ceiling Array not only clears space on a desk, but also encourages users to act and speak naturally, as they are captured by highly-directional microphones from above and are not forced to focus on speaking directly into a microphone. All of this contributes to improved video meetings, better internal communications, and increased productivity as conferences are more efficient when the systems are easy to use and require less user interaction.
Microflex Wireless provides a range of elegant microphone options for enterprise-scale AV conferencing environments, from custom boardrooms to networked enterprises. The new firmware version 5.x update for Microflex Wireless includes High Density Mode, which enables users to operate twice as many simultaneous microphones. In Europe, the maximum channel count will increase from 80 to 160 channels.
Finally, Intellimix® P300 will be making its UK debut at the show. This compact Audio Conferencing Processor delivers echo- and noise-free conferencing audio for small- to medium-sized meeting rooms. Designed for use with Microflex Advance and Microflex Wireless, the P300 is simple to install and configure and offers Dante, analogue, USB, and mobile connectivity options that make joining room systems and collaborating with laptops and mobile devices quick and easy.
